Jackie O Pillbox hat cake for the 81st Birthday girl who adores her hats. This is a dark chocolate cake with raspberry cream filling and fluffy buttercream frosting, covered in marshmallow fondant. The hat is made out of rice krispie treats as well as the hat lid. It wasn't until this cake that I finally have figured out how to cover a cake in marshmallow fondant without any creases, cracks or tears. Yay! That's a big accomplishment, if you have ever worked with fondant.
