Disney Headshot Cakes

These cakes were for a 3 year old girl's birthday. I'm surprised how well the faces turned out for me doing them for the first time ever, and it wasn't to completely hard. The Dopey cake is a dark chocolate cake with chocolate mousse filling and melt in your mouth frosting. The Minnie Mouse cake is a strawberry cake with vanilla cream filling and fluffy buttercream frosting. Both are covered in fondant.

Bowling Ball & Pin Birthday Cake

A Bowling Ball & Pin cake for the 8th Birthday girl. This was a giveaway through a silent auction. The ball is vanilla cake, vanilla cream filling, and melt in your mouth chocolate frosting. The pin is vanilla cake with fluffy buttercream frosting and filling, covered in marshmallow fondant. Both of these cakes are carved by hand. I did add some edible sparkle glitter to the ball. Not to happy with the lumpiness of the pin, but I didn't have much time to fuss with it. I am very pleased with how this turned out.

Hot Pink & Black Polka Dot Cake

For the first birthday girl! This cake is the cutest thing. I love it! It's a strawberry cake with chocolate mousse filling and buttercream underlay and marshamallow fondant. Everything is edible. It's a hot pink and black cake. First time I've covered a round tiered cake in fondant and it went surprisingly well.

Tiara Bridal Shower Cake

This is a strawberry flavored bridal shower cake with fluffy buttercream frosting and marshmallow accents and some royal icing piping. I made the crown myself out of white chocolate and dusted it with silver luster dust. I did make three royal icing crowns that each broke before I got to this one. This cake is lovely, isn't it?
