Christmas Tree Cake Pops

My first attempt at Cake Pops and in the form of Christmas Trees for the Christmas Season. These were gifts for the kid's teachers at Christmas, as well as treats for Micah's preschool class the last day of school before Christmas break. They are chocolate cake mixed with fluffy buttercream frosting, covered in green candy melts. Yum!

Ice Hogs Ice Cream Cake

This is a Rockford Ice Hogs Ice Cream Cake. It's a dark chocolate cake with vanilla ice cream filling and fluffy buttercream frosting. The hockey sticks are puck are made of marsmallow fondant. The Ice Hogs logo is good ol' fashioned piping by way of picture transfer.

Lion 1st Birthday Cake

A Lion 1st Birthday Cake. This is a dark chocolate cake with fluffy buttercream frosting and filling. Included a smash cake for the 1st birthday boy to enjoy.

Star Themed Birthday Cake

This is a Star Themed Birthday Cake set to match the electronic invitation that was loaded with all kinds of stars. This is a vanilla/chocolate marble cake with whipped chocolate ganache filling and fluffy buttercream frosting, covered in marshmallow fondant. Used Ace of Cake's metal swirly wires for decoration. Also used some blue edible glitter on the balls at base and stars. This cake looks far more presentable in person than it does look in pictures.

Tinker Bell Teapot House Cake

This was for my daughter's 3rd birthday. She loves everything Tinker Bell, so I opted to do the teapot house for her birthday. I really wanted to do the entire cake as the teapot house, but as I received order after order for other cakes, my plans for her cake changed and became less and less as I got more busy. Very pleased with how it turned out for not spending so much time on it. This is a strawberry cake with strawberry cream cheese frosting and filling. The Teapot house is made out of marshmallow fondant. Tinker Bell is made out of wax . . . she's a candle. Didn't have time to make her and I've tried before for another cake and she is really hard to make as she has really dainty features.

Jackie O Pillbox Hat Cake & Hat Box

Jackie O Pillbox hat cake for the 81st Birthday girl who adores her hats. This is a dark chocolate cake with raspberry cream filling and fluffy buttercream frosting, covered in marshmallow fondant. The hat is made out of rice krispie treats as well as the hat lid. It wasn't until this cake that I finally have figured out how to cover a cake in marshmallow fondant without any creases, cracks or tears. Yay! That's a big accomplishment, if you have ever worked with fondant.

Megamind Birthday Cake

A Megamind Birthday Cake for the brother and sister celebrating their birthday together at the movie theatre premiere of Megamind. I know he's not 100 % accurate, but it had to do. This is a vanilla cake with vanilla cream filling and fluffy buttercream frosting. I actually like the simpleness of this cake.

Twin Girl Baby Shower Cake

A Baby Shower Cake for twin girls on the way! Aren't they the cutest names for twin girls? Bottom tier is vanilla cake with raspberry filling and fluffy buttercream frosting. Top tier is dark chocolate cake with fluffy buttercream frosting and filling. The colors of pink, green and brown were the colors of the twin babies nursery, also decorated in butterflies. The minivan is an "inside" joke and the A and B are for twin A and twin B.
