So so pretty! This cake was for a mini bridal show at Provena Cor Mariea in Rockford. The bottom tier is dark chocolate cake with chocolate ganache filling. Top tier is vanilla cake with fluffy buttercream frosting and filling. I initially planned to do the color of this cake sage green with the butterflies and calla lillies but was notified the day before to incorporate purple after all my butterflies & calla lillies had been made. Also there was a bride and groom added to the top by Provena, otherwise this cake would look absolutely stunning I think with a third tier!
This is a two tier birthday cake and smash cake for the 1st birthday girl. I had so much fun designing this cake and putting it together. Iwas getting my ideas off of the birthday invitation. One of my favorite things to do with cake is mirroring the invitation for the party. The bottom tier is a vanilla cake with cookies and cream filling. The top tier is a devil's food cake with peanut butter mousse filling and chopped reeses peanut butter cups and fluffy buttercream frosting. Marshmallow fondant accents. The smash cake is a vanilla cake with fluffy buttercream frosting.
