Girl Scout Celebration Cake

Green and Yellow Girl Scout cake for a Girl Scout celebration. Bottom tier is chocolate cake and top tier is vanilla cake. Covered and filled with vanilla buttercream frosting. I made the daisies individually on wax paper days ahead by piping them. New trick I learned in cake class. They are very breakable, so I made one hundred of them. Definitely did not use that many. The lady bugs and catepillars are made of buttercream fondant. I kind of got this idea from a picture I saw on the internet.

Gift of Spring Cake

MOPS giveaway cake. This gift box cake is vanilla with vanilla buttercream frosting and buttercream fondant ribbon. Sprinkles on the border for some added color. Simple, definitely not my most creative.

1st Birthday Boy Colorful Cake

A first birthday boy cake. I combined the invitation with the plates used at the party and this is what I came up with. A vanilla cake with vanilla buttercream frosting and filling. All the decoration is made of buttercream fondant. I shaped each car by hand. I think it came out pretty cute!

Tickled Pink Cake

MOPS giveaway cake. The theme that week was intimate issues so that's why there are a bra and panties on this cake. It's a white chocolate cake with raspberry cream filling and white chocolate frosting. This cake gave me a headache. I refrosted several times before I got it right and I still don't like it. It's pretty though.

I Corinthians 13 Cake

MOPS giveaway cake for Valentine's Day. This cake is based out of the scripture in I Corinthians 13. Each heart indicates a "love is" phrase. A dark chocolate cake with melt-in-your-mouth chocolate frosting anf filling. This cake came from my own little head :-)

Cherry Blossom 80th Birthday Cakes

Birthday cakes for an amazing 80 year old woman. The white cake is a dark chocolate cake with raspberry cream filling and white chocolate frosting. The pink cake is a vanilla cake with vanilla buttercream frosting and filling. The 80 figures were piped out of white chocolate. These are so pretty.

Whimsical Red & White Birthday Cake

I made this cake for my mother-in-law's birthday. It's a chocolate cake with vanilla buttercream frosting. I am a big fan of red so I love this cake! My mixer broke that day so I had to do this frosting by hand.

Velveteen Rabbit Carrot Cake
